Founded in 1923 in Oxford by Reginald Lowe and soon joined by Herbert Oliver, we’ve grown from a small electrical contractor into one of the UK’s leading mechanical and electrical (M&E) specialists. Today, as a family-run business under the Lowe Holdings Group, we proudly serve clients nationwide from our bases in Oxford and Southampton.

Our journey began with the electrification of Oxford, forging enduring ties with the city’s iconic colleges and expanding through the decades to support wartime efforts, royal residences, and modern commercial landmarks like Canary Wharf. We’re honored to be one of the few UK companies to hold a Royal Warrant as Electrical Contractors to HM the Queen—a testament to our unwavering commitment to quality.
